Landlord’s and Student accommodation Electrical Safety Checks
Legislation for rental properties and student accommodation requires electrical installations to be maintained in a safe condition and states that they must be periodically inspected and tested every 5 years in compliance with British Standard 7671. Greenacres Electrical Ltd is certified to issue electrical installation condition reports (EICR) to comply with the regulations and we can provide further assistance, if required to remedy any unsatisfactory items.

Greenacres Electrical Ltd are currently contracted by many local commercial premises in order to support them with their requirements. Emergency lighting tests, maintenance work and electrical installation condition reports (which are required every 5 years) are all conducted on a regular basis alongside emergency call out options. We can tailor an individual solution to fit your requirements.
Portable appliance testing (PAT testing)
Portable appliance testing is the examination of electrical equipment and appliances to ensure they are safe to use. Some types of electrical defects can only be found by carrying out this procedure. The law requires that employers ensure that all electrical equipment they provide in their business is safe and properly maintained.
